Jonah Henkle is a PhD student in the Department of Comparative Literature at the University of California, Irvine, where he works on questions of critical theory, computation, Marxian political economy, and their confluence in theories of automation. He is a graduate student member of the NYU Digital Theory Lab, and a contributing editor to the Language of Language Machines (LoLM) project. Together with Majorca Bateman-Coe he edits Stachka!, a Marxist film and media studies journal.
